In some strange episode of childhood Trivial Pursuit-playing, one of my brothers once made up a bizarrely convoluted question about the largest choral event in musical history--it was something called "The Bison Cantata"...
Did I ever tell you the story of the time I went in high school to audition for an oboe position at the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, and learned that "I" already was the first oboist? Apparently it was an evil "other" Jenny Davidson.... shades of "The Horned Man."
