What I might have added was that the stationery is from our FORMER house in Muswell Hill - this was written in suburban Wilmington, Delaware! My mother has now contemplated the question of age and the fact that we both remember we did this on a snowy winter day, and she says on the basis of the style of painting that I was clearly three rather than four. I agree - if I had been four, I would have been insisting on doing it all myself, in very scrawly letters!
